Honda CB72 & Honda CB77 5 Speed Race Gearbox

This is our version of the original Honda Kit Gearbox, but it is not in any way interchangeable with Honda parts.

As most of the engines used today are 350cc, the opportunity was taken to increase the width of the gears from 8mm to 12mm by deleting the kick start mechanism.

The set comprises mainshaft with all gears, circlips, spacers, etc., sleeve gear with needle roller bearings, layshaft which is supported at each end by needle rollers and the loose gears to complete the set.
A new selector drum and forks are included together with a revised selector mechanism which is similar to that used on the later K4 engines and is designed to give more precise selection of the gears.

The additional gear requires the removal of the kickstart mechanism.

Superfinished in house as standard.
