1999-2003 Yamaha R1 Gearbox

A direct replacement of the standard gears, uses both the original shafts onto which the new gears are assembled.  All gears incorporate 3 undercut engagement dogs for rapid changes and positive retention when engaged. The standard clutch is retained and is assembled using the standard output shaft, bearings, bushes, thrust washers etc.

 

NOTE: The 1999 R1 had a different 1st gear to the 2000-2003 R1. All the other gears were identical, and a 2000-2003 R1 gearbox will fit in a 1999 engine as long as the Input shaft and 1st output gear are transferred.
