Designed to fit the standard Velocette road type gear box shells with only one small modification to part of the ratchet change mechanisms.

All gears have 3 undercut engagement dogs for fast changes and positive retention.  We supply both shafts with all the gears assembled plus three selector forks, cam plate and actuating pawl

 

The road version is supplied with a kickstart 1st layshaft gear which operates with the standard kickstart mechanism.

 

The race version comes with a race 1st layshaft gear which does not operate with the kickstart mechanism and therefore is supplied with a billet aluminium bearing carrier which replaces the standard kick start boss.

 

Both gearboxes are supplied with a 19 tooth sprocket, additional sprockets are available, (18T, 20T, 21T & 22T).

 

A reverse camplate is available for reverse shift pattern if required.
