We are continuing to develop a range of transmission parts for the 4 stroke motorcross engines being converted for use in supermono racing. Close ratio road race style 5 speed gear clusters have been produced for the CRF450 and YZF450 engines. Higher ratio primary gears for the CRF engine are now available. A 6 speed gearbox for the CRF450 has successfully completed its first meeting, being placed 6th and 4th in the British Supermono Championship rounds at the Snetterton race track on 11th and 12th April. |

These are recommended only for use with 500cc engines, eg. Manx Norton, G50's, Matchless, Weslake and Norton 500 twins. As these require a different length mainshaft, it is essential we know which machine they are for when ordering.
We have been asked on numerous occasions if they are suitable for Norton Commando Twins. Whilst we do not sell them on this basis and would accept no responsibility for damage caused to them it may be with an outrigger bearing their use may be possible.
The gear sets comprise of both shafts with all gears, sleeve gear runs on needle roller bearings, selector forks, selector plates with drive gear and selector quadrant.
