Honda CB72/77 5 Speed Road Version

A direct replacement for the standard four speed transmission.  The ratios have been chosen to reflect the sporting aspirations of this model but still allowing use around town.  The additional ratio requires the deletion of the kickstart mechanism.

 

The five speed gearbox is supplied with both shafts assembled requiring only shaft support bearings.  The five speed selector drum is supplied with three selector forks and a completely revised selector mechanism.
