AJR/Bultaco 350 Primary DriveTo compliment the Nova AJR/Bultaco 6 speed gearset. With increased power being extracted from the engine a need has been identified for an uprated clutch.
With space inside the cover severely limited it was necessary to replace the primary gear/clutch basket to accommodate the chosen clutch ratios.
The assembly is supplied with both primary gears and crankshaft shock absorber driven clutch hub back plate and replaceable clutch centre, pressure plate with clutch spring cups. Also supplied are clutch springs, all clutch plates and clutch basket bearing.
Only the clutch nut and crank primary gear bush are not supplied, these need to be retained from the original Set up.
The clutch centre and pressure plate are manufactured from high tensile aluminium and hard anodised.
All clutch plates, are current Honda parts and clutch springs are from Yamaha for ease of replacement.
The design is interchangeable with the Bultaco motocross versions having the undesirable helical primary gears.
